(Alloy 184)

Diamite 184 is a uniquely alloyed abrasion resistant iron similar to Ni-Hard, Type 1, ASTM A532, Class I, Type A. Diamite 184 provides superior abrasion resistance with equal toughness to the typical Ni-Hard 1 composition (wt%).

MICROSTRUCTURE:
Diamite 184 consists of about 50% primary carbide phase in a mostly martensitic matrix with minimum amounts of retained austenite.
