Diacro

Material Specifications
(Cast High Chromium Iron)

DIACRO is a cast alloy for use in applications requiring a combination of abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. It is recommended for a pH range of 1.0 to 11.0 pH where abrasives are present.

MICROSTRUCTURE:
Diacro consists of a dispersed, primary carbide phase in a matrix of martensite and retained austenite. Minor amounts of ferrite may be found in the matrix.

The structure is an optimal balance between “stainless” matrix constituents and highly alloyed carbides.
