Casting

233_5467Metal is prepared in electric induction furnaces, enabling production personnel to meet exacting chemical specifications.

Molds are sorted by alloy through an efficient and unique coding system that allows the melt department to sort proprietary material requirements from standard ASTM specifications.

Medium- to high-frequency coreless induction furnaces are used for all casting production.

Our furnace sizes are:

  • Two (2) - 1,200 pound
  • One (1) - 2,500 pound
  • Two (2) - 3,500 pound
  • One (1) - 5,500 pound
