Restoration of the original foundry building has been completed and repairs have been made to furnace #2 at Weatherly Castng & Machine Co. and employees celebrated the milestone with a cookout on foundry grounds.
Fire damaged the furnace and original foundry building in February.
“Everyone has worked together to ensure that we met the needs of our clients while we restored our furnace and building,” said Michael Leib, president. “We are very proud of our employees and wanted to celebrate their dedication to the company and to our clients.”
Weatherly, (PA), Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 – A new Web site, www.wecast.com, has been launched to market the services and products of both Weatherly Casting & Machine Co. and Hazleton Casting Co.
Michael J. Leib, President, said the new Web site will make it easier for visitors to find and locate information on the two company's services.
"WeCast.com is the new one-stop shop on the Internet for people who are looking for the world's best casting and machine companies," Leib said.
Previously, both companies had separate Web sites. The new arrangement allows them to jointly market their services.
"While Weatherly Casting & Machine Co. and Hazleton Casting Co. have unique skill sets and services, this new Web site lets our potential customers browse through all of our services and alloys in one location," Leib said.
